It seems like these days you have two options when it comes to competing in American Idol….You are either generically good enough because you can sing cover songs and want 50% of your potential income taken by the show after you “make it big”; Or you can do what General Larry Platt has done on the coat-tails of many other idol bombs, (see: William Hung) usurp the entire process and legal paperwork and be absolutely fucking crazy enough to get the world to fall in love with how ridiculous you are….then monetize off of it.

General Larry “Pants on the Ground” Platt is going to be “performing” at the JET nightclub in the Mirage hotel and casino in Las Vegas Nevada while the finalists from this American Idol this season are sitting in hollywood enduring countless hours of makeup and vocal coaching just for the opportunity to lose, go back home, and hope that Applebees will re-hire them.
