Oh man, this has got to be the most adorable video i’ve seen this year. Someone is in big trouble for getting into the kitty’s snacks and this owner is determined to find out which dog is the culprit. Solving this mystery wasn’t hard, but punishing him is going to be…JUST LOOK AT THAT FACE!!
He should be ashamed for making such a sweet dog feel embarrassed and scared of getting in trouble.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video! This was our dog, also a yellow lab, named Renob. He died 20 years ago. We don’t have any video of him. He did the same thing! He told on himself even before we asked “What did you do?”. The squint, bowing the head and then the smile. Renob was the greatest dog ever. I’ve never posted on YouTube and I don’t know how this works, but Doug who posted. No, they they didn’t “make” this dog feel embarrassed. I think it’s a natural behavior trait in Labs. This video took me back 35 years and is the closest thing I will ever have to a video of our most beloved labrador retriever that was adored by so many. To whomever made and posted this video, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Looks like this old dog has gotten into the treats quite a bit. Heck, a few meals could be missed here…
My dog only acts like that because my dad also resorted to punishment rather than reinforcement. Though humans and dogs are not the same, it’s been proven that reinforcers work more effectively than punishment
